Like its “Silver outlined” sibling, Shearwater Tern (which lacks Air Integration and digital compass), the Tern TXbuilds upon the success of the popular Shearwater Peregrine dive computer with an appearance similar to yet thinner than the Shearwater Teric technical dive computer.

Whatsets it apart from the Teric andShearwater Perdix 2 is the absence of OC mixed gas technical and CCR modes, making it ideal for Air, Nitrox, and 3-gas Nitroxdiving.

Both the Tern TX and Tern are depth rated to 120 metres and tested to engineering EN standards for dive computer compliance. They both support Air, Nitrox, 3 Gas Nitrox, Gauge, and Freedive modesand can log 500 hours of dives with a battery life of 20 hours with dive mode on.
