Balls have been used for Tournament Play. We go through each dozen to make sure they are not too beat up although some will have scuffs and knicks in them. Most are the Dudley NSA Thunder Heat 12″ 47/375 Leather Fastpitch Softballs: 4E-147Y.

The 4E-147Y ball features a yellow leather cover and a high-density polyurethane center for maximum resiliency and feel. Constructed with a .47 COR rating and 375 lb. compression, the Dudley Thunder Heat Softball is less susceptible to compression changes due to changes in temperature.
